Open Wi-Fi settings and join the network shown on screen.

Troubleshooting
What do you see?
Setup mode
- Join the setup Wi-Fi network shown on the Verse Device screen.
- Stay connected even if your phone says there is no internet.
- Open the exact address shown on the device in your browser address bar.
Connecting
Give the device a moment. If connection fails it returns to Setup mode automatically. Check the Wi-Fi name/password and make sure 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi is available.
Change settings later
- Use the same Wi-Fi as the Verse Device.
- Hold the device button for Device Info.
- Find Device IP.
- Enter that IP in your browser.
FAQ
Common questions
Why does my phone say “No Internet”?
The temporary setup network does not provide internet. Stay connected and open the address shown on the Verse Device.
I can’t find the setup network.
Make sure the device is powered and showing Setup mode, then refresh your Wi-Fi list. Use the exact network name shown on the device screen.
My device has a different Wi-Fi name or no six-character code.
Some earlier Verse Devices were shipped with older firmware. Their setup Wi-Fi name may look different and may not include the six-character device suffix.
Use the exact Wi-Fi network name shown on the device screen. After the device connects to your home Wi-Fi and reaches the internet, it should automatically check for the current firmware and may restart while the update is installed.
The setup address will not open.
Make sure you are still connected to the Verse Device network and type the address directly into the browser address bar rather than a search engine.
How do I change settings after setup?
Hold the device button, find Device IP, and open that address from a phone or computer on the same Wi-Fi.
When does the daily verse change?
After midnight in the time zone selected in the device settings.
